Day/ Time: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 6pm - 6.45pm

Our ‘teens’ classes are designed to progress young people from their ‘primary’ years into their teens. All teen classes are specially developed to provide students with a fun, fit and engaging program that not only teaches them martial arts but also empowers them with integral life skills specific to their age.
In our (11-13s) karate class, students are taught a high level of martial art based technique established through kicking and punching drills, progressing each student individually and engaging them with a healthy fitness routine. Skills of balance, flexibility, strength and stamina are built with a emphasis on defensive-movement.
As part of our teen program, a focus on defensive-movement art develops skills of self-discipline, confidence and self-esteem. Students are taught how to protect themselves, should the need ever arise (we hope and promote that they don’t). Life skill lessons are centred around decision making- knowing how and what to say ‘no’ to and developing a sense of what is right and wrong.
